100% on-site at the Cherokee site
2 main tasks: daily cycle counts of physical inventory (counting/scanning barcodes), and discard picking. If the person is good he may train them on investigations
Also general warehousing tasks – moving pallets/shipments
SAP/ERP knowledge preferred but they will train
PIT/Turret Truck experience preferred but there will also be extension training
Key Accountabilities:
This position fills the need to undertake warehousing operations that encompass several
functions. Material handling functions include dock operations, movement, storage, tracking,
and pulling and locating chemicals and packaging components. The receiving function
processes incoming material and loading data into SAP. Initial acknowledgement of material is
also done here. Component order processing, tracking, activity reporting, inventory deducts,
and deviation investigation are part of this function Use of powered material handling
equipment up to and including operator-up turret stock picker is required. Safe handling of
chemicals, supplies, and equipment while ensuring compliance with all regulations is expected.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Work Expereince: 1+ years of Warehouse experience
Job Specific Competencies and Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Ablity to lift up to 50 pounds
PPE: Safety toe boots, no mesh. High vis vest. Pants, no shorts. Safety harness for PIT operations) We will provide high vis, harness, and can order new safety toe shoes post onboarding, but if they have a pair of safety shoes, please let them know to wear them.
