Duties and Responsibilities
1. Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on the age of the patient and their clinical condition.
3. Ability to monitor the hemodynamic status of the patient and correctly interpret the results.
5. Documents patient care appropriately and according to policy. Report and document changes in a patient’s condition in a thorough and timely manner.
7. Focused on patient safety, submitted incident reports to the incident reporting system, and communicates with management to learn from mistakes and improve patient outcomes.
9. Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates the effectiveness of learning, family is included in teaching as appropriate.
11. Rounds on patients hourly and documents appropriately.
13. Communicates appropriately and clearly to charge nurses, co-workers, and physicians.
15. Provides care appropriate to the disease condition and age of the patient.
17. Demonstrates an ability to assist physicians with procedures.
19. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses the psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. Functions as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Utah RN License.

Shift: Night Shift, Weekends and Holidays.
