Position Summary:  This
position is responsible for performing all aspects of sleep disorder testing
including EEG testing, CPAP setup and compliance tracking.  This position exists to assist the Medical
Director, Sleep Lab and Oxygen Supervisors in all aspects of excellent patient
care. Minimum Qualifications:·       
High School Diploma
or Equivalent·       
Registered
Polysomnographic Technologist·       
American Heart Association BLS·       
Previous EEG
experience Essential Job Functions:·  
Set-up CPAP machines and assist patients in
all aspects of meeting compliance·  
Assist and educate patients in CPAP mask
fitting and all therapy compliance issues·  
Work closely with Sleep Center Medical
Director and Sleep Center Supervisor to assure excellence in patient service·  
Assist in setup of pre-surgery CPAP patients·  
Required to be proficient in scoring and
evaluating polysomnograms·  
Run adult and pediatric EEGs Knowledge, Skills and Abilities·       
Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and
maintains a professional demeanor at all times·       
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written
communication skills·       
Creativity, problem analysis and decision making·       
Ability to work varied shifts·       
Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and
maintains confidentiality·       
Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet
applications and standard office equipment·       
Self-directed, completes assignments accurately,
thoroughly and with minimal oversight ·       
Detail oriented, organizational skills and the
ability to prioritize and strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Shift: 3 x 12 hour Night shifts per week, grouped shifts

Sub Specialties: Polysomnographer, Pulmonary Function Tech (PFT)

General Certifications: General Certifications(BLS/BCLS); Other(RPSGT)
