MaineHealth is looking for a pool of Hospitalist candidates to cover due to labor shortages and a quick start of October 1st!
Details:
- October 1, 2024 through Jan 31, 2025
- Monday-Sunday, 7a-7p
- Adult Medicine, floor and intermediate care. No ICU. IP, rounding, admitting.
- Average # of patients per day (admissions): 0-1
- Average # of patients per day (inpatient): 15-17
- Will not respond to in-house codes
- Will be responsible for supervising APP and occasionally residents
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma level 1
- 3 month credentialing timeframe but expedited privileging for an October 2024 start
Requirement description :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required
- Active ME license – Required
- COVID and Flu Vaccine – Required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Highly Preferred
- Proficient in EPIC – Highly Preferred
